Then and Now

Chappaqua Commons, a mile from the railroad station, was the first of Chappaqua’s multifamily projects. Its 54 single-level and duplex units are in six masonry buildings on a three-acre site close to shopping.  The builders, Charles Hatcher and Thomas Flood 3rd, received zoning bonuses for design features, energy efficiency, parking under cover and units for the elderly.
